I’m a fourth-year Political Science major at UC Santa Barbara, concentrating in American government. I’ve interned in multiple congressional and state legislative offices, including the U.S. House of Representatives and California State Assembly. In these roles, I conducted policy research, drafted memos, and worked on constituent services and community engagement. At UCSB, I serve as the Transfer Representative on the Student Fee Advisory Committee, where I help allocate a $300,000 annual budget and a $5 million reserve. I also sit on the Vice Chancellor’s Student Cabinet, serve as a voting member of the University Center Governance Board, and recently joined the New Tradition/Welcome Week Committee.
Outside of school, I volunteer at the UCSB Food Bank and with the Farhang Foundation, supporting students and promoting Persian cultural programming. I'm fluent in Farsi and passionate about bridging cultures and communities. My long-term goal is to attend law school and pursue a career that combines legal advocacy and public service
